SAND Raiders Guides

Correct as of Update #6 · 2026-08-03

How this site works

SAND changes every week or two. Most guides never say which version they describe, so they rot silently. This site's only real promise is that every page tells you what it is correct as of.

Correct as of Update #6 · 2026-08-03

Where the facts come from

Almost everything here is read from two first-party surfaces: the developer's own Steam announcements for SAND: Raiders of Sophie, and the publisher's support articles. We summarise and link rather than paste, because that text is theirs.

We label claims by how well we can stand behind them, and the labels look different on purpose:

Why pages carry an update number instead of a version

Because there is no version number to carry. We checked every announcement the developer has published: releases are labelled by update number and date only — no build string, no semver. So pages are stamped Update #6 · 2026-08-03. If you see a guide citing a version string for this game, it is either quoting one support article's stray reference or making it up.

What we refuse to publish

We do not play the game. That is a real limitation and we would rather state it than have you infer it from vague pages. Everything here is read, dated and cross-checked rather than tested, which means:

The mistake this site is built to avoid

The publisher's own FAQ still showed superseded crew brackets three days after Update #6 replaced them — and that FAQ is what search engines send you to. Meanwhile their known-issues article, on the same support site, was updated the day after Update #6 shipped. Same publisher, opposite currency, and the fresher page is the harder one to find.

That is the gap this site fills. Not being more informed than the developer — being the findable, dated copy of what they have already said.

Corrections

If something here is out of date or wrong, it is worth telling us, and it will be fixed with the date changed rather than quietly edited. We keep a record of our own corrections for the same reason we date everything else: a site whose only promise is accuracy does not get to be vague about being wrong.

Contributions we can credit and date are welcome — especially the capture procedure and current in-game figures, which are the two things we cannot obtain ourselves.

Unofficial

This is a fan site with no affiliation with the developer or publisher of SAND: Raiders of Sophie. The domain contains the word "wiki" for historical reasons; the site is a curated set of guides rather than a wiki, and there is a separate, unrelated wiki-style site at a similar address.
